The Gardeners’ eXchange is a forum for local gardeners (i.e., southern Connecticut) to give away extra or unwanted plants or garden material, to share large orders, or to look for wanted plants/material. Members post their “advertisements” to the eXchange as an “OFFER,” “SHARE,” or “WANTED” message, similar to the Classified section in a newspaper.
There are two simple rules for using the Gardeners’ eXchange
- Everything is FREE – no trading, no reselling, no strings attached
- Give responsibly – do not pass on diseased, illegal, or invasive plants

To Post a Message
To post a message, simply complete the form at the Gardeners’ eXchange and hit ‘Submit.’ Messages will be posted for 14 days or until the transaction is completed. Please note that you will be asked to provide some way for people to contact you - usually this is an email address or phone number. You will not be asked for your home address – that information should be shared only with the Recipient prior to pick-up. If you have any concerns about your email address being shown in posts we recommend that you create a separate Yahoo, Gmail, or Hotmail email account (or the host of your choice) specifically for Gardeners’ eXchange correspondence. There are even free email options that will forward to a different email address. Submit posting here
