UConn Master Gardeners teach the fundamentals of gardening in 3 successive Thursday sessions: (1) Setting the stage; assess your garden, prepare garden beds, including amending soils, fertilizing, and mulching. (2) Perennials and Shrubs fro all garden conditions, pruning and maintenance. (3) Turf, the basic elements for a healthy lawn; composting.
